Long biography

Satyanarayana Sheshagiri is a fashion entrepreneur, textile and apparel industry leader, author and mentor with more than three decades of experience across textiles, garments, manufacturing and fashion business. His journey began in textiles: fibres, yarns, fabrics and processing. Over time it expanded into garments, apparel, entrepreneurship and brand building.

He is the Founder and Managing Director of Sheshagiri Industries Private Limited, the Proprietor of Creative Creations Clothing Company, and the Co-Founder of Apex Fashion Lab, a fashion entrepreneurship, mentorship and incubation ecosystem. He is the author of Fashionpreneur DNA and Before the Applause, written to help aspiring entrepreneurs understand the business behind fashion, and has been recognised with an Honorary Doctorate in Business Management.

Today he continues to build businesses, write, mentor and share what he has learned, helping the next generation of entrepreneurs turn a fashion idea into a real business.
